21 anglers from Stone Bridge S.A.C in Dublin took part in their annual open boat competition southwest wind of force 5 to 6 made angling difficult on the Saturday. Sunday was a much better day and Doloree skippered by Sean Lavelle left Blacksod for Achill head, Some great angling around Carrickakin which is a rock just west of Achill Head.  Pollack, Ballen Wrasse, Cuckoo Wrasse, Tub Gurnard, Red Gurnard, Dab, some nice Pouting and large numbers of Haddock.
