Belmullet is possibly one of the best all-round sea angling centre in Ireland. Its wonderful sheltered waters,  with Blacksod Bay to the South and Broad Haven Bay to the North.   Over thirty-nine varieties of fish known to inhabit the waters around Belmullet, the sea-angler is rewarded  with the best all-round sea angling waters in Ireland.   Belmullet holds the Irish record for Tub Gurnard (12-03-08 lbs),  Red Gurnard (3-09 lbs),  Halibut (156 lbs),   and the Achill Island area offers excellent deep sea fishing with the Irish records for both  Porbeagle shark (365 lbs) and Blue shark (256 lbs) are held there.   Fish from our fast Offshore 105 “Doloree” 35ft boat with 320hp and plenty of deck space.   Doloree is insured and licensed by dept of marine and fully equipped with all the very latest navigation  and safety equipment.
